            Bug ID: 476843
Summary: [Feature request] read GPS data from phone to computer
    Classification: Applications
           Product: kdeconnect
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: All
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: common
          Assignee: albertv...@gmail.com
          Reporter: me+kdebugs@kropotkin.rocks
                CC: andrew.g.r.hol...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

I think will be a nice feature if kdeconnect could read GPS position from the
phone and send it to the computers.
One of the potentials I thought is when the phone and the computer are
connected through a VPN network and not on the same access point. In that case,
the phone and the computer can be very far away. In that case if the phone is
lost making it emit a strong noise may not be enough, that's when will be nice
to get GPS position of the phone.

Another possibility (and the one I am most interested) is to use kdeconnect as
an "API" to easily get a GPS position using the phone instead of buying a
dedicated GPS hardware for the computer. Although this last one may seem more
like a hack.
