Bug ID: 366541 Summary: git master:2016-08-09: Speed effect should be a clip job Product: kdenlive Version: unspecified Platform: Compiled Sources OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: User Interface Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org Reporter: evert.vors...@yandex.com There are a lot of open bugs on the speed effect not playing nice with other clips on the timeline, and not playing nice with other effects in a stack. This is because the speed effect is a little special, and has to be applied before any other effect, and has the ability to change the frame numbers of a clip. This points to a fundemental flaw in how we deal with the speed effect. In my opinion, the speed effect is not a filter, and should not be treated as such. In my opionion, the speed effect should actually be a clip job ( that applies really quickly ) and result in an .mlt file that is added to the project. This is sure to be a much more simple and hence stable solution than what we have today. -Evert- Reproducible: Always -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
