The project I'm working on consists mainly of AVI videos recorded with a
Fujifilm FinePix JX300 camera.
kdenlive shows their FPS in the clip properties as "30,0003".
Maybe kdenlive asked me if I wanted to match

The profile was probably created automatically by Kdenlive when you tried
adding a clip having that frame rate (if you have enabled the option to check
clip profile on first added clip).

I simply created a new project with the File -> New menu. I actually did not
change anything there.
Settings:
- Video profile:
-- Resolution: HD 720
-- Frame Rate: 30.00
- Video tracks: 3
- Audio tracks: 2

There is a problem with your project profile, and I can reproduce the issue.The
project profile has an fps of 30.0003, which is not exactly 30fps. The project
bin uses MLT to translate the frames duration t

I just tried the kdenlive-master Ubuntu PPA; this still happens on kdenlive
17.03.70.
