Hi, I had solved this by starting kile with the old working version, closed
all files (since even if kile was called without a name it opened the last
document), updated to new version and started it. It started fine. The

Hi, I am not sure what test case would be. It happens even if I just issue
the kile command with no arguments at the command line.
