            Bug ID: 487875
Summary: Unable to copy photos and videos from an iPhone in
                    Plasma 6
    Classification: Frameworks and Libraries
           Product: kio-extras
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: openSUSE
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: critical
          Priority: NOR
         Component: AFC
          Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
          Reporter: pavel.uru...@gmail.com
                CC: k...@privat.broulik.de
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY
It is impossible to open the "Camera" filesystem on an iPhone or iPad in
Plasma 6.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Connect an iPhone or an iPad to a PC running KDE Plasma 6.
2. In the "Disks & Devices" pop-up, select "Camera -> Open in File Manager"

OBSERVED RESULT
A new Dolphin window opens showing the default location (in my case, my home
folder). The "Camera" filesystem does not show up in the list of mounted
devices in the sidebar.

EXPECTED RESULT
A new Dolphin window opens showing the "Camera" filesystem on the connected
device. The "Camera" filesystem appears in the list of mounted devices.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Operating System: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20240524
KDE Plasma Version: 6.0.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 6.2.0
Qt Version: 6.7.0
Kernel Version: 6.9.1-1-default (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I can manually mount the camera filesystem on the connected device using
libimobiledevice and fusermount, so the problem is definitely on KDE's side.
