            Bug ID: 412879
Summary: Download link to actual Windows version on homepage
                    not linking to last version
           Product: kmymoney
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: MS Windows
                OS: All
            Status: REPORTED
          Keywords: accessibility, reproducible, testcase
          Severity: minor
          Priority: NOR
         Component: website
          Assignee: kmymoney-de...@kde.org
          Reporter: laurent.so...@gmx.com
  Target Milestone: ---

On the homepage (https://kmymoney.org), the version 4.8.4 is proposed for
Windows PCs; in release notes, the version 5.0.6 can be retrieved.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open https://kmymoney.org in a browser -> top right, version 4.8.4 is
offered for Windows PCs (https://download.kde.org/stable/kmymoney/4.8.4/win64/)
2. Click on the link to 5.0.6 (last versions are listed in the middle of the
homepage) to open the page
https://kmymoney.org/news.php#itemKMyMoney506released
3. In the page for 5.0.6, you can find the sentence
"Binary packages for 32 and 64 bit Windows are available from the KDE download
mirror network."
which links to https://download.kde.org/stable/kmymoney/5.0.6/win64/

OBSERVED RESULT
Windows Users get an older version

EXPECTED RESULT
Windows Users shall get the newest available version (here, different major
version leads to 'frustation' (Windows as 2nd class citizen client))

On FTPs servers (e.g. to download Debian) there is a link 'latest' (pointing to
the latest available version). I don't know the logic behind it, but it would
definitely solve the problem :-)
SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
n/a

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Used Firefox in private version so no problem of browser cache here.
