            Bug ID: 462385
Summary: RFE: Add a clone/tab mode
    Classification: Applications
           Product: konsole
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Other
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: konsole-de...@kde.org
          Reporter: ptsel...@outlook.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Currently we have the nice option to replicate what we type in one of more
tabs. This is great when someone wants to enter the same commands in more than
one or 2 machines.

There are use-cases where cloning or synchronization is useful too. Like when
you want to share your screen or just an application in a video conference and
you don't want to share the rest of your tabs, or simply because you want to
use a graphical tablet and annotate while you keep the konsole in your main
screen.

What I would be interested to see is a functionality where a tab is fully
synchronized/mirrored to another tab. So, not only the commands I type are sent
to the other tab, but any output from the CLI as well.

A relevant functionality is already implemented in Kate with the "New
Synchronized Window" under the file menu.
