I have to strongly disagree here. It is perfect idea. It is how its done in Ps,
Gimp and Affinity Photo. I am not saying that Krita should copy everything from
those programs, but it is far better solution then lock guides.

Thanks lock guides work.
Shrinking the area is not a solution though. Because i will always grab the
line instead od drawing near it. best way to change it is to make lines active
to move only with
