I certainly was not expecting an instant fix. If there's any additional data
needed, let me know. I'll experiment with a few other drivers.

Do you mean "inactive". I seem to remember having heard about this problem with
AMD graphics cards before, though. There's something buggy in the driver, but
since we don't have access to a broken driver/hardware

Black screen does not occur while Opengl is active.
