Bug ID: 392161 Summary: Default pixel grid start showing too early during zooming Product: krita Version: nightly build (please specify the git hash!) Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: OpenGL Canvas Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: tyson...@mail.com Target Milestone: --- krita-4.1.0-pre-alpha-cc28a62-x86_64 The current default threshold for pixel grid start showing is 800%. However, after working intensively for a pixel art style game for more than a year now, I came to the conclusion that 800% is way too early. 800% is a sweet spot where I zoom out to see the whole design while each pixel is still big enough to be painted precisely. But the grid gets in the way here so I found myself changing this value every time after reinstalling an OS. >From my experience, a value of 2400% is more appropriate. Since new users don't know where, or even if they can change this value at all, I suggest we change the default value to 2400% for better first impression and less fuss. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
