Bug ID: 410932 Summary: Tracking resolution detection is incorrect when convertable tablet is booted in portrait mode Product: krita Version: unspecified Platform: MS Windows OS: MS Windows Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: tablet support Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: msoflaher...@sheffield.ac.uk Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 122134 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=122134&action=edit krita debug logs SUMMARY When a convertable tablet is booted in portrait mode Krita's resolution detection does not pick up the correct resolution, and the pen position (on the canvas) does not match the cursor (or stylus) position. Notably only the position on the canvas is incorrect - tracking within UI elements (e.g. menus, toolbars) works properly. This can be corrected by manually setting the tablet resolution. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Set the tablet orientation to portrait mode 2. Reboot 3. Open krita, try to draw something OBSERVED RESULT Pen position is considerably off from that of the cursor/stylus position. EXPECTED RESULT Pen tracks the stylus correctly. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: Windows 7 64 bit Krita v3.3.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Hardware: Fujitsu T5010 with embedded Wacom FUJ02E5 I attach a zip of several debug logs (captured with MS DebugView): * after booting in landscape mode with automatic resolution detection, using krita in both landscape and portrait mode (both working correctly) * after booting in portrait mode with automatic resolution detection, using krita in both landscape and portrait mode (neither working correctly) * after booting in portrait mode with manual resolution settings, using krita in both landscape and portait mode (both working correctly) Notably the manual resolution used (1754x800) does not match the screen resolution (1280x800) and was found by trial-and-error. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
