Picture of the pro pen 3d default settings in the wacom software

SUMMARY

I'm using a Wacom Intuos Pro M tablet (PHT-660P). I have two pens: the standard
pro pen 2, and a pro pen 3d. The pro pen 2 works as expected. The pro pen 3D is
acting strange with Krita. The pen has a default button setting, which from top
to bottom -> right click, double click, and tumble. In Krita, only when I'm
working on the canvas, no matter how I set up these buttons, they only work by
the default state, and it's only true for the topmost two buttons. The tumble
button can be configured freely, and works. If I move the pen away from the
canvas, for example, I bring up the pop-up pallette, the button settings are
recognized. This makes this pen only usable with the default settings
currently. This happened after updating Krita to 4.4.0.. Upgrading to 4.4.1.
did not fix the problem. When presented the problem, I also upgraded my wacom
driver, which also did not fix the problem. Made a fresh Krita reinstall, and
even tried out the tablet along with a clean krita install on another computer.
The end result is the same.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Have Krita 4.4.1. installed, and have the tablet the two pens connected to
it. Set the button on the pro pen 3d to different controls from default, which
is easy to differentiate from them.
2. Working on the canvas, test out the topmost two buttons. They are right
click (pop-up pallette), and double click (pan), in this order.
3. Move the pen away from the canvas, test buttons again. They work as set up
in the wacom software.

OBSERVED RESULT
The topmost two pen buttons do not work apart from their default settings when
the canvas is active.

EXPECTED RESULT
The buttons should behave the same even in the canvas.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: Windows 10 Home Edition x64 version

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Tried to change the canvas from DX to OpenGL, and even software rendering.
Made no difference.
- Clean installed the wacom driver, also did not help.
- The buttons work everywhere as they set up apart from the canvas.
- The pro pen 2 works perfectly, as it should.
- The same problem persist if I only attach my pro pen 3d to the tablet, and
completely delete the pro pen 2 from the settings.
- The wacom tester program shows no errors in the pen.

Thank you in advance for trying to help with my problem!
