You're right on. As a test user, the appimage worked. In my own account, I had
`export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib64:/lib64` high up in my .bashrc (for some
reason). Upon removing that line (and logging out and back in

I don't know... I don't have Fedora myself, and it doesn't happen with KDE Neon
and Qt 5.15.
