The brush was created with Krita 5.0, long before Beta 1.
Deleting the brush, then trying to recreate it using Beta 2 also causes the
crash.

Another option would be to open Krita 5.1. beta 1 (you can download a portable
zip to not install over the beta2) and see which brush the stylus switches to,
if what Dmitry says is correct. It won't crash, and you can use my
