Bug ID: 443048 Summary: Copy / Move progress bar always on top and unable to minimize Product: krusader Version: 2.7.2 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: krusader-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: robert.st...@gmail.com CC: krusader-bugs-n...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 141972 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=141972&action=edit Progress bar with no ability to minimize SUMMARY I have been using Krusader on a few different Linux distributions and have seen different behavior depending on the distro. I had been using Linux Mint Cinnamon for about a year and a half and then switched due to an issue with VMware Workstation performance. On Linux Mint Cinnamon and on my current distribution, Pop!_OS (System 76) Distributor ID: Pop Description: Pop!_OS 21.04 Release: 21.04 Codename: hirsute Whenever I copy or move a file the progress bar is always on top and I am unable to minimize it. In between the Linux Mint Cinnamon and the Pop!_OS installations I ran Kubuntu. While using Kubuntu I experienced the behavior that I would expect from the copy / move progress bar. I was able to minimize the progress bar so that it was unobtrusive / out of the way. So, why is it that the progress bar can be minimized on Kubuntu, but not on other Linux distros? STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Copy or move any file 2. 3. OBSERVED RESULT Unable to minimize the progress bar EXPECTED RESULT SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
