The fix is to erase dark frame masters from KSTARS and from the Macbook drive folder before subsequent use. The same issue was not seen during trials with a Windows 11 PC. *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. I ran the dark wizard for my guide camera ... 5 exposures each over 1-5 second range. 2. Immediately repeat step 1. OBSERVED RESULT KSTARS crashes EXPECTED RESULT old darks + masters are overwritten SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Sonoma 14.2.1 Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I was able to fix the issue by manually deleting the old masters using the wizard AND manually deleting the files on my MAC...I had to do both.
