The problem is the splitting of the quads. We have several effects triggering
it. If we fix it for one, we automatically fix it for all.

I do hope that sooner or later the root cause might be eliminated. until then

Because my Lappy had been in Suspend state since the crash targeted in my
preceding post, just in case that was the cause of the inability to read memory
