You could try KWIN_COMPOSE=O2 or KWIN_COMPOSE=O2ES environment

I experienced the same crash after I unset QT_QUICK_BACKEND and set
KWIN_COMPOSE=Q to test the QPainter backend of KWin.

Because the OpenGL backend of Qt Quick uses complex shaders that doesn't fit
into the hardware
