We can try the following:
1. Move your left panel at the bottom
2. Close Latte
3. Start Latte with: latte-dock -d --layouter
4. Metrics will appear for each applet, layout etc...

2. Remove everything in:
- /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.latte.plasmoid
- /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.latte.containment
3. Reinstall Latte

I am able to reproduce this with a new default layout. I'm also not seeing
anything weird when I toggle the setting when launching Latte Dock from the
terminal with the debug flag.
