Are you talking about 17.04 ? I always accept when the system suggests any
update/upgrade. The upgrade to 17.04 hasn't spawned yet. Is there anything to
do to trigger this upgrade ? Thank you.

Why don't you upgrade to latest Kubuntu. It has significantly newer partition
manager and this bug is fixed there.
