Bug ID: 473843 Summary: Text in highlighted area (on mouse hover) takes a little bit of the accent color resulting in a lower contrast Classification: Plasma Product: plasma-nm Version: 5.27.7 Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: applet Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: pos...@posteo.eu Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 161237 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=161237&action=edit Screenshots SUMMARY When you hover the mouse over an item in the network manager, the item's whole background becomes highlighted (blue), unfortunately also the text color changes from white or gray to a more blueish tone. Please see the screenshots I have attached: In the middle one I have replaced the highlighting color with the Breeze Dark background as if it weren't highlighted. You can see that the text got a blueish accent color. This results in a lower contrast and makes the text and graph harder to read and as a user I tend to move the mouse away. It would be great if the background didn't blend into the graphs or texts so that those keep their original color.
