                    a low priority repository
           Product: plasma-pk-updates
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: openSUSE RPMs
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: major
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general

you have 402 new updates

SUMMARY

The Software Updates tray icon wants to update packages to the highest
available version regardless of the repository priority, which will result in a
broken system if I would allow it to update.
I'm not sure if it is KDE bug in general or openSUSE specific.

I have a Tumbleweed (development version) repository with priority 110 for some
packages that are not existant and/or outdated in the main repository with
priority 99 (in openSUSE package manager the higher the number - the lower the
priority).
But the Software Updates wants to update ALL packages from Tumbleweed because
they have higher version numbers, not only those packages which I've manually
installed from that repository.
For example, the Software Updates wants to install kernel 5.17.5 because it is
newer than the currently installed 5.3.18. Please see screenshots attached.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. add any repository and decrease its priority
2. click "Check for updates" in the Software Updates widget
3. observe the results

OBSERVED RESULT
"You have 402 new updates" -- all these packages have newer versions indeed,
but they come from a low priority repo.

EXPECTED RESULT
All packages should be updated from their respective repositories only.
If the user actually installed some packages from a lower priority repository -
then the Software Updater should use this repository.
The higher package versions should not be counted as updates if they come from
a lower priority repository AND were not installed from that repository
manually by the user.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: openSUSE Leap 15.3
KDE Plasma Version: 5.18.6
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.76.0
