            Bug ID: 405674
Summary: Interpreting mouse clicks in Kickoff seems to be
                    faulty.
           Product: plasmashell
           Version: 5.15.2
          Platform: Fedora RPMs
                OS: Linux

Attempt to start ABRT

Description of problem:

When I open Kickoff using the launcher icon in the lower left corner of the
desktop and I want to start an application, I expect this behaviour:

1. Run Kickoff.
2. Click on Applications
3. Click on Submenu
4. Click on application launcher
5. Start the application.

When doing this manually, there is no problem with that. Whenever I hover over
an item with the mouse, the item gets highlighted (a blue bar appears behind
it) and when I click on that launcher, the application starts. This is what
people want and expect.

When I use an automated testing framework, such as OpenQA, the produced mouse
click is so quick that the icon can never be highlighted with that blue bar. As
a result, the machine produces a click on an icon, but the highlighted
application is started instead of the clicked application.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

Plasma desktop on Fedora 30. version 5.5.12

How reproducible:

Always

Steps to Reproduce:

It can only be reproduced in an automated testing framework, OpenQA. You cannot
reproduce it manually. I am attaching a video for you to see it. The task is to
run ABRT, which means:

1. Go to the menus.
2. Click on applications.
3. Hit down arrow until it finds the submenu System.
4. Click on the ABRT icon - the orange emergency light.

Actual results:

You can see, that instead of ABRT, Kfrb (desktop sharing) is started, because
it was highlighted. However, the testing framework really clicked onto a
correcte icon of ABRT, it can be seen in the logs and on OpenQA screenshots.

Expected results:

Kickoff should open the clicked application, no matter the position of the blue
bar if that click is too quick.
