Should you use multiple layouts, e.g. one for chatting in Telegram and a
different one for browsing let's say. To avoid unneccessary switching one could
ask per checkbox that the choosen layout will be restored for any window.
This functionality should also be usable for IBUS as well.

I have custom BASH implementation for this for SWAYWM and it is a cool feature!
I have a default IBUS layout for everything and I have a set of window titles I
want the layout be remembered for. On window focus the last layout is restored.
Switching windows doesn't mess up the layouts I use.
