Bug ID: 488156 Summary: Option to hide new tray icons by default Classification: Plasma Product: plasmashell Version: master Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: System Tray Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: accou...@rack.re CC: mate...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 Related to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=316681 Anytime a new program is started that uses the system tray, I have to manually go to the tray settings and set it to "always hide". With dual monitors, I have to do it twice. What a waste of time. I see that the system tray settings have an option to always show all entries, but what's missing is an option like "hide all entries except for: ..." or "hide all new entries by default" (and then the user can manually re-enable some icons).
