Bug ID: 420827 Summary: Cannot revert screen resolution to currently selected in KCM Product: systemsettings Version: 5.17.5 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: kcm_kscreen Assignee: kscreen-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: aspotas...@gmail.com CC: plasma-b...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY Cannot revert screen resolution to currently selected in KCM if resolution was changed by another app while Screen KCM was open. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open kcm_kscreen. Notice current screen resolution (1920x1080 in my case.) 2. Use another app to change screen resolution, e.g. run StarCraft 2 in Wine that would request a different resolution (1280x720.) 3. Click Apply in the KCM. OBSERVED RESULT It won't work because Apply button in KCM is still grayed out. EXPECTED RESULT Either Apply should work to revert screen resolution back to 1920x1080, or there should be another way to do it (besides Apply). SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.17.5 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.68.0 Qt Version: 5.13.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
