            Bug ID: 450051
Summary: user interface improvement: update entry
           Product: tellico
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Microsoft Windows
                OS: Microsoft Windows
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
          Assignee: ro...@periapsis.org
          Reporter: jess.jones.unitedking...@protonmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

I would like to request a small user interface improvement for the "update
entry" menu item when right clicking an entry.
In the current version of tellico, when you select a source to use for updating
the entry, there is not indicated to the user if:

* NO UPDATE happened: the chosen source has information for the entry but there
is no updated information available (the information in tellico is the same as
in the chosen source)
* UPDATE happened: the chosen source has updated information for the entry and
the entry was updated
* NO UPDATE happened: the chosen source doesn't have the entry information at
all

I suggest to add a simple message box that appears after updating the entry,
that displays one of the 3 options above.
In this way the user knows what happened.

When the user has chosen "All sources", a message box should appear that tells
which source was used to update the entry or (if no update found) a message box
that tells the entry was not updated (because no source was found having
updated information for the entry).
