The problem here is somewhat fundamental to the way kglobalaccel works.
Therefore I'm very hesitant to just remove the SimpleConfig flag hoping it will
fix everything.

yeah, kglobalshortcutsrc behaves somehow different to other config files, which
makes me think that the flag is there for a reason and simply removing it is
not the answer here
