ICYMI, I have decided to go with Alpaka.

Loren,
We gave ideas.
I think it's up to you to pick one.
You could also try a name generator. Chatgpt or something like it.
Thanks,

Yes. It was mentioned this app is intended to manage Llama LLMs.
- Llama manager
- Herder (or some other language equivalent. Pastor in Spanish. As in
herding your many llamas)
- Corral (as in a place to keep llamas)
Probably just want a name that is simple and easy for people to know what

I had no idea.
Yes, if it is offensive then, do not use it.
I meant that the use of K made sense to me. Also, since the LLM was
named Llama, and this one Kamel(camel), then seemed somewhat
consistent.
But not if it is offensive. We do not want to be rude either.

Really ?
A Kamel is a big, slow and un-funny animal, in german it's also not a
compliment to call somebody a Kamel.
Alex
I like that. The k makes sense there. It also fits with the theme of the
target uses.

While I personally don't mind app name discussions, I also wonder if
kde-core-devel is really the right forum for this. I figure you won't get as
much discussion in a GitLab ticket, but perhaps the friendly community in KDE

But since I'm already sending a mail,
I'm back again with more name ideas.
1. Alpaka. (h/t to Kevin Kofler for the suggestion) I've tended to veer away
from names such as this, because there is a derivative of the Llama 2 model
called "Alpaca". However, Alpaca is an open project built by some Stanford

I'm a fan of K when it's used well e.g. Kalendar or Kontact but not KMyApp

The closest relatives to the llama are the vicuña, the guanaco, and the
alpaca. The German spellings Vikunja, Guanako, and Alpaka kontain a
Maybe we can help.
Can you give us some information in your own words of what the application
does? What is it used for? How is it better/different than what is
currently available?
Thanks

Does it have to start with a K?
What does this app do? I would try to name it based on what it does.
I see that it is used to interact with a LLM named llama.
I think it shouldn't have a name that starts with K, and that it should be
named something related to llama, the large language model.
