Hi,
since there is no frameworks-users list and kde-devel seems less appropriate
I'm asking here.
I'm currently working on adding a job manager (similar to Plasma's notification
widget)
for KIO jobs to Krusader. While doing that I came across two issues which
couldn't be
solved yet.

Hi all,
I find it strange (not to say disappointing) that we are even talking
about C++11 in 2016.
+1 for the proposal.
I wanted to start discussions about C++14 (the "bugfix" release of
C++), but I'll wait until this discussion is finished. :)
Cheers,

Hi,
if you add your additional dependencies which are not in KDE's flatpak runtime
currently, then I guess it won't have any difference for your users. They will
either have to download a runtime requiring more space or an app bundle/repo
requiring extra space due to QtLocation, QCA and so on.

Hi,
I'm a developer of QGIS [1] which makes heavy use of Qt libraries. I was
very happy to see the work on a KDE flatpak repository which already
packages Qt [2].
I have recently been looking into a couple of different approaches to
ship app bundles and flatpak sounds like a very interesting

Hi,
In my customized Kubuntu 16.04 (plasma 5.6.5, framework 5.23.0, and
applications 15.12.3) there is a strange behavior in my task manager.
Please see this screenshot:

When I open dolphin, the icon in the task manager will be shown correctly,

Hi framework devs,
recently we started to see the first patches for frameworks to silence
warnings for not used features of C++11. In particular to add override
to methods of inheriting classes.
Now I find this weird from the perspective of our C++ requirements. On
the one side we say that
