case I must point out that there are minor release updates to 4.10 and also a
major release update to 4.11. Please try at least

I follow your hint and I upgraded KDE to 4.11.2, according to the BLFS book.
This means, I rebuilt every KDE program as well as the dependencies which were
not acc
the linked issue is dead old - it's more likely that you're using an abi
"incompatible" decoration plugin (qtcurve? any 3rd party one, though) since
debian/ubuntu has (had?) falsepositive abi management.
