I've been attempting to upgrade to 4.7.2. However, I cannot seem to
get around this problem. It occurs while trying to compile kde4-
runtime, kate, kolourpaint and others. As a result, the compile stops
at the config stage.
I've reinstalled kdelibs4 at least twice. Still no dice. Hoping

In KDE 4.7.2 cant enable OpenGL,in 4.6.5 work fine.

I had to deinstall qt-3.3.8_13, then install kdelibs4 (+ other kde4
ports) and afterwards reinstall qt-3.3.8_13 again.

So, after installing 4.7.2 from ports yesterday, I have found an issue
with previews and thumbnails. I installed kdegraphics4-thumbnailers but
that didn't fix this. What I have found is that if I choose a
wallpaper, no previews show up. If I go to configure doplphin, the
"Show Previews For"

because nepomuk libraries are not found:

Please set them or make sure they are set and tested correctly in the
CMake file
I ran into this one. You've got to make sure that x11-toolkits/shared-desktop-
ontologies is up to date, and then re-install kdelibs4.
