Can you post your full, verbose build output? I tried reproducing it here but
got different errors caused by alsa/asoundlib.h not being detected by CMake and

Maybe I misunderstand you, but konsole has the link-feature too.
Profile Options -> Mouse -> Underline Links
They are not coloured, but underlined if you hover them. A right click will
alow you to open them in your browser or copy the address.

OK, building as root found asoundlib.h and I've managed to reproduce the issue.
It's possible that this has been broken for a while and just went unnoticed

I disagree. Upstream was overriding CFLAGS wrongly,
