For me plasma5 works great (I'm using it as my main desktop since ~2years).
kde-workspace4 is a longterm release (since a long time).
Issues with kde are best reported here, because else, it might get
overlooked.

The whole KDE Frameworks builds fine on 9.3 :) -- Plasma on the other hand
not (for example kscreenlocker uses SOCK_CLOEXEC which is only available

Maybe I misunderstand you, but konsole has the link-feature too.
Profile Options -> Mouse -> Underline Links
They are not coloured, but underlined if you hover them. A right click will
alow you to open them in your browser or copy the address.

CONFLICTS_INSTALL= kdenetwork-4.*
set. This seems wrong to me as kdenetwork4 is a metaport that includes
kopete-kde4.
