Here's another one from svn 3798. Happened when I double clicked gamma
effect up the effect stack which had mute, technicolor and gamma.
Good news is that playing with effects worked for me about half an hour
before a crash: progress!

the controls after an effect has been added. Didn't quite catch what I
did to trigger this yet.
