If you want a video with multi audio streams, like some videos do with an option to listen in English, Spanish, French, etc. then you definitely need to make it a mkv container. You should be able to do this with ffmpeg, which works with mkv H.265 and allows you to address multiple audio

It can be useful to, at least, two instances read proxy files, although those were generated by only one of them (or previous session). But I've seen an additional problem: Once I've closed second instance with its own project, the first one says it can't save project (as it were read-only).
