Now that im working with a lot of tracks Im having a space issue. Im
working with audio and the top video layer at the same time. I need to make
them as small as possible to have them all visible at the same time and
being able to use the audio track
There are probable a better way to think of
Im making a video where I have up to 9 video tracks layered on some points.
Id like to blur at least 6 of them which have their effects and transitions
and play with the other 3 on top
When I blur them one by one I can still see the outline of the layers,
which is not bad, but not what I intended

This does not work yet. I tried both compiling latest git and the appimage
Also as Davy Bartoloni suggests on the comments,
In todays cafe we talked about this
In oct theres a plan to merge the timeline_refactor branch to master
and before that they plan to fix most of what has been called
show-stoppers
You can find them (and add your own) here:

Normal regressions should be reported

I was preparing an email to discuss a effects/keyframing/tracks
workflow, then realized I hadnt try the new refactoring branch yet,
and gave it a try to build on whatever is already being worked at
I just compiled a timeline_refactoring and noticed a few bugs/big
things missing, like copy/paste
are not adding overlays and messing with

I know, I know
Double the features and half the crashes! Im not even opening a
wishlist bug for this one, just a random idea!
Heres a guy asking for smart encoding. It could be one of those
features for amateur users that sets you apart ;)
I cut a piece of a video to get rid of it. Basically cut, cut, select
middle piece, delete. Put each side on a different track and click
transition disolve
Later on, I regretted the cut and had to uncut it. Basically, cut
every track on top, so I could use the spacer tool to move the right
side
Im making a video at 2560x1080@60 fps. Ratio 21:9
Im importing a clip that is 1980x1020@30fps. Ratio 16:9
I had to go the clip properties and force ratio to 12:9 so its full
screen. I found this 12:9 ratio manually by trial and error. No idea
where it comes from, but it fits the screen and
Thanks for your hard work and the communication with the users. There

Proxy files are okay to a certain degree, specially early on on the
editing process when bulk editing is done, but they get useless very
soon after a more refine editing needs to be done
Low quality doesnt allow you to see many details that needs to be seen
in order to edit the small stuff... and
