I am looking for a suitable solution allowing us to publish kdenlive
tutorials. Today, I tested blip.tv in 1024x768 resolution and other
resolutions.

This sounds awesome JMP. Just what we could use. Is it possible to do
any of this capturing using Kdenlive's built in screencapture? Seems
to me that it would be great to get more testing on it, and feature
requests if needed (--follow-mouse?), or is to too early to be "eating

does it imply that we (users) have to install an additional package for
screengrabbing? (recordmydesktop)
i think almost all users are using ffmpeg right now for many things, so
theres no need to install another package.. unless it offers more features
