There was an old build of kdenlive hanging around it turns out,
I have been playing around a little bit with the SVN build today (r3485)
and it usually crashed after a maximum of 2 minutes. I added Composite
transitions and Lumas. Once kdenlive crashed after trying to move a png
clip to track 1 - 0, once after pressing space to play a video.
Unfortunately
After the upgrade to 0.7.4 I was still getting my initial crash at startup;
once I removed the file:
~/.kde/share/config/kdenliverc
my startup worked fine. I've not had any chance to play with the release yet,
however.
Note that my fix won't likely fix this issue:
