Dan,
Blender has over 19000 strings to translate. It took me over a year to

That?s not a decade, you?re right, but I wonder how is that a year of a

hi dan
Wow, this EDL thing is unlimited; it must be pure magic! I was trying
to prevent questions like how do I represent the effects and
transitions in my timleine?
honestly i think users that edit their vacation videos dont know what edl
is and that shouldnt be a problem either...

hi
Yes, but the EDL can only represent a very limited subset of what
Kdenlive can do. I think you are just limited to clips on tracks of a
timeline with no filters or transitions. That may seem kind of
pointless, but some people keep asking for it nonetheless. :-)

Hi Gus!
Unfortunately I did not have time to work on Kdenlive during the last
months, but something that for sure will benefit of additional manpower
(whatever it be) is the refactoring part which jb wants to work on the
next weeks. We want to finally integrate it. He can also tell you more :)

Just to clarify, the KdenParse tool creates an equivalent EDL file
from a kdenlive project file, which is the desired functionality.

Hi folks,
I am interested in helping push open source video editing. I threw a
few bucks to OpenShot's Kickstarter campaign, but since I prefer and
use kdenlive, I am offering my time here (not that I have a whole lot
of it to give). I am a developer, but I don't think I have the time
