hi Yes, but the EDL can only represent a very limited subset of what Kdenlive can do. I think you are just limited to clips on tracks of a timeline with no filters or transitions. That may seem kind of pointless, but some people keep asking for it nonetheless. :-) edl its not actually

This looks like something I can tackle, though I have very little Blender experience, and I'm not a Python developer, so I don't know if that will slow me down. Just to clarify, the KdenParse tool creates an equivalent EDL file from a kdenlive project file, which is the desired functionality.
