I implemented it, but we remove search in folder widget.
So this feature exists now in akonadi but was removed from search windows.

seems to work here too.
test performed: fresh start , opened kmail , done some stuff , logout.
Shutdown is now very quick and the crash is gone.

Tried a few akonadictl stop/start + logouts here too, and it does indeed seems
to be fixed; no crashes, and logout is finally fast again.

Seems to be related to phonon backend. After switching from xine to gstreamer
