I forgot to mention that the problems that I am having with Popup Notes only
came with the latest version of KDE, ie KDE 4.12.95. Previous versions worked
to my satisfaction. I hope this is fixed by the release of KDE 4.

Even manually moving any email within kmail to 'sent-mail' folder doesn't
really move it physically on disk.

For me it looks that the mail from thunderbird you encrypted uses no detatched
signature. Only a detached signature is stored in the .asc file. The problem
is, that gpg at the cmd line automatically verifies an inli

directory), which makes use of internal hash/tree of the filesystem
