Oh and Dan later added that "server" actually means any resource, so "server"
could also be a local maildir or calender file or what not.

I would call it severe since it does lead to loss of e-mail. It happened here:

Wow, thank you, Dan. I may even test if, if I configure my IMAP account again,
I removed it cause Akonadi was too slow, yet, I found it replaced mysql.conf in
a recent upgrade
