Today I upgraded to 5.14.1, and in the full email display in the From: line the
name is now properly shown ("IƱigo ..."), so might be fixed with that version
indeed.
Not yet in the folder listing though.

kmail 5.10.3 is very old.
last version is 5.14.1 and it works fine here.
Do you have "Automatically insert signature" checked in
kmail->configure->editor-> general ?
