I have switched to the OpenSuse Tumbleweed and KMail works here much better. I
can't reproduce the problem anymore.

Same problem with a folder with a lot of messages (~20K). Can't find any other
correlations between problem and folder properties.

I'm surprised with a question. First of all - it's ugly and unaesthetic. Then I
suggest that it causes a Mail Filter Agent to make a run. And sometimes it gets
stuck: there is a plenty of bugs about Mail Fi
