environment is that the machines do not have direct access to the internet,

see if the workaround in the bug 486160 works for you. I am not sure about
SuSE, but there should be some similar file or it could be overriden by
configuration file in /etc/NetworkManager.

Hello,
I just found a workaround for the problem. When I remove
NetworkManager-config-connectivity-fedora package everything works like a
charm.

Hmm, also korganizer is offline. so it is definitely akonadi bug, not kmail.

It seems to be an akonadi problem. When running akonadiconsole I see many
resources offline. I am not able to make them back online. Maybe akonadi thinks
there is no network connection or something like that? How

I just tried to clear akonadi cache from kmail2 menu. I received notofication
that IMAP resource and local folders resource are corrupt. What could be the
problem?
