I'm not sure if I followed you correctly, though, but this wasn't old indexing
that remained after I unchecked the indexing option. These are the steps I

I just checked and yes, I can find emails when performing searches in these
folders. All my folders are getting indexed (I have about 15) but I only have
full search index enabled in 3 of them.

I can see that search is finding some results using KDE SC 4.9RC1. It's only
showing a limited amount of results, though. I searched for an email with a
subject I already knew existed; the email is a few month

I deleted my ~/.kde4/share/config/kmail2rc thinking that maybe I got something
in there that causes this behaviour, but the same thing happens with a fresh
config file. Anywhere else I could look to see what's
