It didn't like something it found in the ~/.kde/share/config/kmailrc file.

The problem might have been caused by my Windows AD/Exchange password having
expired and me having an e-mail in the outbox, which kmail was trying to send

Due to an issue I am experiencing with X.org on my system I am unable to just
logout and instead must either reboot or do a console login and start kde that
way, so I rebooted for a normal l
