Any solution or proposal for this bug? It is quite annoying because kmail
almost always choses the wrong identity for new messages or replies.

Sorry, I do have to correct my text. We talk about identities, not signatures:

Now I found out, what happens! KMail chooses the identitiy that I defined last.
I deleted the critical one (including a mailing list) an now KMail uses the
newest in the list.
