Summary: Wish for old selection-style: selecting a folder shows all contents of that folder and below Product: kaddressbook Version: unspecified Platform: Compiled Sources OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: ke...@zenshock.net CC: to...@kde.org Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.4) OS: Linux In the current version of KAddressbook (4.6.0) there is a new way of selecting contacts. Instead of showing all contacts of the selected folder along with any items lying in folders beneath the selection, in the new version only the contacts of the selected folders are listed. Since I enjoyed using the previous style of selection to quickly filter contacts by categories (my subfolders), I kindly request an option to enable the old behaviour again. (If this is more confusing than descriptive, I'd be glad to try it again :] ) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Select the root folder of personal contacts Actual Results: Only the contacts in the root folder, but not the contacts of the folders beneath the root folder are displayed. If I want to see them too, I have to manually select all subfolders and their subfolder and so on. Expected Results: All contacts in my addressbook (in case of selecting the root folder) are displayed. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
